I opened Fiore Blossoms, a bespoke flower studio, in 2004. At the time, I taught high school biology, chemistry, and genetics, but was looking for a more creative way to spend my days while still working with my true love – the natural world. The plan worked – I’m never happier than when I’m in my floral studio, or meeting with couples, to help bring their vision for a perfect wedding day to life!
My artistic aesthetic is lush and romantic, and celebrates the beauty of each season. My arrangements usually have texture from the ruffliest peonies, garden roses, or ranunculus I can find, with a wisp of trailing vine or a quiet little woodland flower tucked in. I love to experiment with new combinations of blooms that make magic together.
I work hard to support local flower farmers that are the backbone of the amazing Pacific Northwest floral community. (The truth? Their stuff is just better than anything shipped here on a plane from South America!). It’s sort of the whole farm-to-table idea, but I’m the girl putting a centerpiece of heirloom roses and sweet peas on your table, instead of free-range chicken or grass-fed beef.
Along with flowers, I can also help you select the perfect linens, candles, props, lighting, tableware, favors, and paper products for a perfectly styled event! Beautiful pieces are even better when brought together with flawless style.
When I’m not in my floral studio, I also spend a lot of time hanging out with two sweet little boys, a dashing husband, a harlequin great dane, an ancient cat, and a flock of urban hens. I share some of our adventures, as well as a lot of flower talk over on Fiore Fresco.
Located in Seattle, Washington; available to flower at all destinations.
